The Flobot field service app makes it easy to create quotes on the go. With a few simple steps, you can create a quote that will impress your customers.
- Open the Flobot app on your device.
- Navigate to your appointment within the app.
- Within the appointment, locate and tap the “Quotes” tab.
- On the Quotes tab, locate and tap the “Create New” button.
- A dialog box will appear with options for creating a new quote or selecting pre-defined quote templates.
Selecting the “New Quote” Option
- Tap on the “Quote Summary” tab to add a summary of the quote.
- Enter the estimated time required to complete the project by selecting the appropriate unit (hours, days, weeks, etc.) from the dropdown menu.
- Specify the “Ratio Type” as either dynamic or static, depending on your requirements. Choosing the dynamic ratio type allows for automatic adjustments in quantity based on the ratio between different items.
- Determine the “Project Type” as either a single project or multiple projects.
- Add a detailed summary of the job.
- Save the quote once all the details have been filled in.

If you create a quote using a template, it is important to customize it according to the specific requirements of your current job.
Adding Quote Items
- Tap on the Quote information tab to add a
- Look for the option to Add new quote item and click on it.
- Enter the necessary details for the quote item type, quote item, such as the item name, description, quantity, rate, and any other relevant information.
- Click on the “Save” button to save the item to the quote.
Adding Quote Options
To further streamline customer experiences, Flobot APP offers additional service options. One such option is Waste Disposal Charges, which addresses the inconvenience of waste management. By selecting this option, customers can delegate the responsibility of waste disposal to professionals, alleviating the need for personal handling.
Adding Work Proposed
The “Work Proposed” section plays a crucial role in providing clarity and transparency to the client about the scope and nature of the project. It helps both parties align their expectations and ensures a clear understanding of the work to be performed. To enhance this understanding, including images along with text descriptions can further strengthen communication.
Adding Further details
This tab provides an opportunity to provide additional information and clarify specific aspects of the quote. FTMs can easily upload images directly from their devices to visually support their quote. Alongside the images, users can add text descriptions to provide further context, specifications, or explanations.
Adding Quote Notes & Images
The “Quote Notes & Images” tab in the Flobot app serves as a dedicated section for FTMs to add internal notes and include images within a quote. This tab allows FTMs to store important information relevant to the quote.
View Your Quote Before Sending
The “View Quote” option allows you to access a summary of your quote before uploading or sending it to your customers.
Tap on the “Quote Summary” tab to review the quote’s details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
After creating a quote in Flobot App, you have two options for managing its distribution. Firstly, the “Upload to Flobot” option allows you to submit the quote to the Flobot administrators. This ensures that the quote is securely stored within the system for administrative purposes.
Secondly, the “Send to Client” option allows you to directly share the quote with your customer. Choosing this option not only sends the quote to the customer but also automatically uploads it to the Flobot system for seamless record-keeping.
